As a Ford truck enthusiast you should know that this is one icon starring the long list of American legends that the world at large has always associated with their perception of US. The Ford Motor Company launched their first full size pick up truck for sale popularly known as the Ford Truck almost five decades ago. The first generation trucks were launched during the period 1948 to 1952 and they came as full body with one-piece windshield that distinctly looked flat.
The headlights were integrated into the body and the truck had the See-Clear windshield washer that used to be operated with a foot paddle. It also had those windshield wiper & sun visor on the passenger windows apart from the taillights. The Ford Company used to call their range of trucks the F Series with Ford Truck Enthusiast.
So far the most popular trucks for sale in the series came out in Ford F-150 truck. The F Series makes up for almost fifty percent of the companys profit as the company started manufacturing another version of F-150 and named it F-250/350 with some additional features incorporated in it. These fantastic trucks were high in public demand and in fact the patrons of this truck formed a club called Ford truck enthusiast.
As a Ford truck enthusiasts when you browse the history of the vehicle you know that till 1959 all trucks in theĀ F-series were produced with Marmon-Herrington All Wheel Drive. In 1951 and 1952, little changes were incorporated with headlights getting connected in aerodynamic crosspiece. The trucks were redesigned and re-launched in 1957 and by this time it came out with a hood that was composite with the fenders and a new chrome grille. At the back of the truck the body was renamed as flare side and designed to have a smooth look.
Again in 1961 the truck was given a new look. It became much wider and was redesigned as a single body full truck with an integrated cab and box. Now 200 hp engines were integrated and in 1965, the front suspension with Twin I-Beam was introduced along with the coil springs. Both 1965 and 1966 trucks came with a TWIN I-BEAM logo on the front fender with RangerĀ models were first launched in 1965 with stylish designs with Ford truck enthusiast.
They were primarily released as a part of the F Series. Around 1981 Ranger was re launched as a series of Fords compact series truck. The Ford truck enthusiast received all these features with much fanfare.
In 1973 the Ford Motor Car Company introduced F350 SRW pickup trucks. These were promoted as the new heavy-duty pickup trucks. These were primarily targeted to the segment of contractors and people who love camping. In 1976, the F-series won the title of best-selling trucks of America and continued to win it till date; at the same time it also needs to be mentioned here that the Ford truck enthusiast is a major admirer of this fantastic vehicle known as the Ford truck.
